I shouldn't be alone at night,
Though I'm eightteen,
A ten foot terror stalks me,
But only in my dreams,
His arms wide as if to hold me,
And suddenly I feel safe,
But I know if i go to him,
What will kill me is his embrace,
A fine tailored suit,
And long fingers spread,
Just the thought of him,
Fills my heart with dread,
I heard the stories when I was a child,
How he had no mercy mild,
I saw the videos on tv,
And when I die i know he will be the last thing I see,
Creeping through the house at night,
He watches as I sleep,
Daring me to wake,
Daring me to scream,
If I embrace him,
My soul will not re

"Please don't make me!" The Slender Boy whined, tugging on his father's suit.  "Pleasepleaseplease, Father!  I don't want to go!  They'll laugh at me!"

"Now, Slender Boy!" Mr. Slenderman growled, looking sharply into his son's nonexistent eyes.  "I'll have none of this foolishness!  You're going to school
and that's that!"

What?  Well, why do sound so incredibly surprised?  Of course the Slender Man used to be a boy.  We all started somewhere, didn't we?

A Keen Slender ManMany a weary year ago,
When my hair was rich and black,
Before I'd broken both my knees,
And snapped my fragile back,

I strolled into a forest,
As cocky as could be
No use in being modest,
The world belonged to me,

But as I walked down dirty path,
I decided then to linger,
For I had felt a wicked heart,
Seen a tall and slender figure,

No man was he, no natural thing
His skull was smooth and white
No mouth or eyes above his chin,
He filled my soul with fright,

His arms grew long like whips and vines,
He wore a suit of black,
I'll remember him for all my time,
There'll be no going back…

Who was this demon of the wood,

You hear the whispers of his name
Like something secret and profane
The stories of him told to young
Of those unfortunate to have met him
When he comes

He comes out from amongst the trees
Bringing horror to those that see
A man, yet strange and grotesquely tall
A kind of man who shouldn't exist at all
Arms and legs long and limber
To leave your body, high in the timber
A face devoid of any features
Simple yet horrifying is this creature

No one knows from where came
Or where he will appear again
His stride is quick so you can run
But chances are your life is done
His coming is heralded by a fog
Children lau

Spins a web
With his arms
Wants to do
Children harm

Is he tall?
Like a tree
